SMS nonwoven fabric

STERIM SMS-type nonwoven fabric for sterilization, with a weight of 55 g/m², is available in two colors: blue and green. The product is intended for steam, ethylene oxide, and formaldehyde sterilization, and, because it contains no cellulose, it is also suitable for plasma sterilization.

Thanks to the special fibers used in the production of SMS nonwoven fabric, this packaging provides a high-performance sterile barrier and is resistant to liquid penetration.

The most common sheet sizes are 50 x 50, 60 x 60, 75 x 75, 90 x 90, 100 x 100, and 120 x 120 cm. SMS nonwoven fabric is a Class 1 medical device in accordance with the MDR Directive 745/2017. The product is labeled in accordance with ISO 11607.
