We are pleased to announce the completion of the comprehensive modernization of the Central Sterilization Unit at the John Paul II Pediatric Center in Sosnowiec. This investment has provided the facility with a state-of-the-art sterilization unit, and we — as the general contractor — had the opportunity to once again raise the bar in terms of technological and quality standards.

Despite the limited space available for the project, we were able to introduce new functionalities. The design was tailored to meet the needs of the staff and aligned with their expectations.

As part of the modernization of the Central Sterilization Unit, we carried out the following:

• full renovation of the entire unit, including the removal of outdated equipment and execution of necessary construction works,
• selection, delivery, and installation of a pass-through washer-disinfector, modern steam sterilizers, and a plasma sterilizer,
• outfitting of the dirty area with essential devices and work tools to improve ergonomics and overall workflow,
• construction and connection of a water treatment station to ensure that the water used in the facility meets the highest quality standards,
• implementation of the Synapsis IT system for tracking the circulation of medical instruments, significantly improving the daily operations of the Central Sterilization Unit.
