Labels are an indispensable part of the documentation system; they are used with two- or three-row labelers to mark packages for sterilization. There are two types of labels: neutral labels (without indicators) and labels with indicators designed for specific sterilization methods. In such cases, a Type 1 indicator on the label will change color to the corresponding reference color, indicating exposure to the sterilizing agent. The labels are double-sided adhesive, allowing them to be archived in the documentation system. Indicator labels comply with the ISO 11140 standard.
We can also use identification labels to mark containers. The label is then placed in the container’s window, where it remains until the container reaches its destination, at which point it can be affixed to the documentation. Labels with an indicator comply with the ISO 11140 standard.
