Disinfectants for non-submersible medical devices and rooms using the fumigation (fogging) method are medical devices, most commonly hydrogen peroxide-based, that are sprayed in the form of a dry fog or aerosol. They enable effective decontamination of the air and all surfaces in a room, including hard-to-reach areas and nooks and crannies. Fumigation ensures a high level of microbiological cleanliness and is widely used in hospitals and medical facilities.
The fumigation process is fully automated and does not require personnel to be present in the room being disinfected, which enhances user safety. These chemicals leave no residue and do not cause corrosion of medical equipment. Informer Med’s product line also includes fumigation devices designed for use with dedicated chemicals.
